Karter Rogers

Vaughn Ramsey

Vaughn Ramsey, a 6’7” outside hitter, is a junior from Kent Denver Academy. Vaughn has been playing with Cherry Creek since his freshman year of high school and assisted the Bruins to their State Runner Up title last spring. Vaughn is in his 3rd season playing for 303 Volleyball Academy. In 2018, he led his team to a Championship at the Dennis Lafata Boysfest and later took 5th in the United States at the U18 national championships.

Karter Rogers, a 6’4” outside hitter, leads his team as captain and has posted 118 kills in 35 sets, hits a 0.316, and has 25 aces. Karter has played for both 303 Volleyball as well as Front Range Volleyball, and qualified Team Continental for USA Volleyball. In the 2018 season, Karter was voted to the all tournament team at the Boys Junior National Tournament.

Yarden Kelmann


Yarden Kelmann, 5’9", is a Junior at Cherry Creek High School. Yarden started playing High School Volleyball as a Setter with the 3A Cherry Creek team, playing in the 3A State Final as an 8th grader. He earned a spot on the 5A All-State second team in 2017 as a Freshman and 5A All-State first team this season. In the past he’s also played at the club level. Outside of Volleyball, a lifelong passion is music, playing guitar and piano. Yarden's also a Varsity Tennis player, and a member of Meistersingers and Union Street Jazz Choir.

Erik Siegfried

Erik Siegfried, a 6’0” Sophomore Libero, has competed with the Cherry Creek volleyball team for three seasons, and has competed at the club level for 5. The past two seasons Erik has led his team as the Varsity starting Libero. In 2018, Erik’s club team won the Championship at the Dennis Lafata Qualifier and then 5th in the nation at the Junior Boys National Championships, Erik competed at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships on the Continental Team and was A1 the previous two years. Erik looks forward to the opportunity to play volleyball in college while studying either pre-medicine or business and is a member of many clubs.

Justin Cypress, a 5’10” Opposite, is a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School and is in his second year playing high school volleyball as a Creek Bruin.  Justin started playing volleyball competitively this year and competes with 303 Volleyball Academy. Justin holds a 3.75 GPA and is enrolled in multiple Honors courses at Cherry Creek.

Jordan Cardenas

Josh Guthrie, 6’0”, is a freshman at Cherry Creek High School. Last season, his team, Elevation 14 Peak Boys, was the first boy’s club volleyball team from Colorado to receive an open bid to nationals.  Josh also started on the 3A Cherry Creek team as an 8th grader, which went to state in 2018. This year, he plays club volleyball with the Elevation 16 Peak Boys. In addition to club and school volleyball, Josh competes for the Cherry Creek rock climbing team and is an active member of Creek’s EcoAction club.

Jordan is a 5’8” freshman Libero. He is in his second year of club volleyball at Elevation and his second year of HS volleyball at Cherry Creek. His 3A team for Cherry Creek made it to state, which Jordan played setter for. Jordan received an All State Honorable mention for his High School play. Jordan’s 2018 boys club team was the first boys team in Colorado to receive an Open Bid to compete in the Boys Junior National Tournament. Jordan also enjoys competitive spikeball, basketball, and horror movies.

Kevin Bray, a 6 foot freshman, makes his debut premier on varsity as a starting middle blocker. Kevin plays at Elevation Volleyball Club and stars on the first Colorado team to obtain an open bid in club. Kevin and his Cherry Creek 3A team made it to the state playoffs during the 2018 season. Kevin also plays football for Cherry Creek and enjoys competitive spikeball in his free time.
