Imagine your future

Join the movement in Clay County, Florida

WHO WE ARE

Clay County Boys Volleyball is an independent program created with the spirit to ignite a spark in the Clay County community.

BUILDING THE FUTURE

Intended for young men ages 11 to 18, we hope student-athletes and the community join us in advocating for boys volleyball as an officially sponsored sport in their middle and high schools.

MISSION

Our mission is to advocate for the inclusion and development of school-supported boys volleyball programs in middle and high schools in Clay County, fostering a culture of athleticism, teamwork, and personal growth.

SEASON

Our prototype is three months long, mirroring the season of boys high school volleyball in St. Johns County, Fla.

LOCATION

An independent entity, CCBV is not affiliated with the School Board of Clay County. We are grateful to St. Johns Country Day School and Lakeside Junior High School in Orange Park for their hospitality in granting us access to lease space.

Paving the way

Although boys volleyball is the fastest-growing sport in high schools across the USA, it’s just sprouting in Jacksonville, Fla. For example, St. Johns County School District was a trailblazer in offering the sport in its middle and high schools. However, Clay, Duval, Nassau and Baker counties don’t yet have it available in schools. We want to change that in Clay!

Women’s volleyball is a staple in many colleges and universities around the country. However, men’s volleyball is growing, along with scholarship opportunities. We found Scholarship Stats to have insightful information.

We’re aiming to add boys volleyball as a school sport in Clay County.
